Bravecto for Dogs offers long-lasting flea and tick protection that lasts up to 12 weeks, three times longer than many monthly chewables.
Yes. Bravecto is available in two forms: oral chewable and topical solution.
This product is safe for dogs and puppies at least 6 months old and weighs a minimum of 4.4 pounds. It has also been evaluated for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs.
Yes. The chew is safe to give alongside other commonly used treatments. However, it is best to check with a veterinarian before using it simultaneously with other treatments.
You should administer it with food. If you break or crumble the chew, ensure your dog consumes the full dose.
If 4 or more hours have passed before vomiting, the dose is likely absorbed, and your dog should remain protected. If vomiting occurs within 3 hours, wait 24 hours and administer a new dose. Do not give a third chew if vomiting happens again. Consult a veterinarian to get tailored recommendations.
If a dog receives twice the recommended dosage of Bravecto within 12 weeks, there should be no adverse effects. It is suggested, however, to contact a veterinarian in such a situation.
There’s no need to use both. Use Bravecto Chews if your dog is comfortable receiving oral treatment. Alternatively, use Bravecto Topical if you have a fussy eater.
Yes. Bravecto for Dogs is safe to combine with other preventives like heartworm or dewormers. However, take the help of a veterinarian to get the best solution for your dog.
Yes, it kills more than 96% of the ticks that may carry Lyme disease.
The fluralaner-based chew protects against as many as five tick species including black-legged tick, American dog tick, brown dog tick, Asian longhorned tick and lone star tick that may carry diseases.
Give one dose every 12 weeks to kill adult fleas, treat and prevent flea infestations, and control black-legged tick, American dog tick, brown dog tick, and Asian longhorn tick infestations. To treat and control lone star tick infestations, administer the dosage once every 8 weeks.
Give the chew as soon as possible and continue with the routine dosage for your dog’s uninterrupted parasite protection. However, it is best to take the advice of a veterinarian for expert recommendations.
Bravecto offers a cat-exclusive solution for flea and tick treatment. You can use Bravecto Topical for your cat’s flea and tick protection or Bravecto Plus for broader coverage.
No. It targets fleas and ticks. For broader parasite protection, consider using a combination product like Simparica Trio, which also treats worms and prevents heartworm disease.
